M Social Hotel Suzhou recently showcased its commitment to sustainability and community care through two meaningful initiatives. It participated in Sohu Jiangsu’s Earth Day event, “Renewing Old Items, Protecting the Earth Together,” where the team engaged the public through interactive activities, eco-themed brand sharing and a bring-your-own-cup coffee initiative promoting low-carbon living and reduced plastic use.

The hotel also creatively repurposed discarded paper cups into a check-in display, reinforcing the message of sustainable living.

Proceeds from charity bag go to Gusu District Red Cross

Building on this spirit of giving back, M Social Suzhou has also launched its “Zongzi Gift, Stylish Care” charity gift box in celebration of the upcoming Dragon Boat Festival.

In partnership with the Gusu District Red Cross, part of the proceeds from each bag sold will support first-aid training programmes as well as public health and safety initiatives across the district. The hotels hopes to combine hospitality with purpose, encouraging both environmental responsibility and community wellbeing.

Priced at CNY 188 per box, each set includes eight 100g dumplings and is available for purchase until 19 June 2026. Collections are at the Beast & Butterflies Restaurant on the 25th floor.
