Ms Edeline Tiong, General Manager of M Hotel Singapore City Centre, has been named a recipient of the Visionary Leader Award 2026 at the WSHAsia Awards & EHS Leaders Awards, recognising her leadership in advancing workplace safety, health and sustainability.

Leading a mature hospitality asset such as M Hotel Singapore, which opened in 1985, brings unique challenges. Under Edeline’s leadership, the hotel has continued to balance operational continuity with continuous improvement, supported by a strong focus on risk management, resilience and future readiness.

Edeline has championed the integration of Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) into the hotel’s operations and business strategy. Initiatives include SCDF High-Risk Installation (HRI) Surveys, fire safety drills and CERT audits. By bringing together management, operational teams and Health, Safety, Security and Environment (HSSE) functions, she has helped ensure that safety remains closely aligned with business performance and employee well-being.

The accolade adds to M Hotel Singapore’s achievements in 2025, including the Singapore Hotel Association Sustainability Award, WELL Health-Safety Rating, Hotel Star Excellence Award and a Singapore World Water Day Certificate of Appreciation from PUB.
