The search is on for Singaporeans whose courage, compassion and service have made a meaningful difference to their communities and beyond.

Nominations for The Straits Times (ST) Singaporean of the Year 2026 are now open, recognising individuals and groups whose contributions have positively impacted society, elevated Singapore's global standing, or inspired others through acts of selflessness and leadership.

The awards also include the International Impact Award and Young Singaporean of the Year Award, which honour Singaporeans making a difference abroad and outstanding youths under the age of 18 respectively.

As the Global Hotel Partner, Millennium Hotels and Resorts (MHR) is proud to support this annual initiative, which shines a spotlight on individuals who strengthen communities and embody the values of resilience, service and compassion.

MHR Executive Director Mr Kwek Eik Sheng said, "A strong society is built by individuals who step forward to uplift others and strengthen their communities. Through their service, resilience and compassion, these remarkable Singaporeans remind us how one person's actions can make a meaningful difference. We are proud to celebrate their achievements and the positive impact they continue to make on our nation."

The recipient of the main award will receive S$20,000 in cash, a pair of Singapore Airlines Business Class tickets, and a five-night stay at any MHR property worldwide. Winners of the other award categories will also receive cash prizes, accommodation and travel rewards.
