As early summer unfolds, Millennium Hotel Taichung introduces its new Early Summer Garden Afternoon Tea at Lumi Bar. Available until 30 June 2026, the experience draws inspiration from a blooming garden in full season, transforming floral notes and fresh fruits into an elegant afternoon ritual.
Created by the Pastry Sous Chef, the menu highlights the colours and freshness of early summer through ingredients such as mango, mulberry and watermelon. The selection brings together four pastries and three savoury creations, each thoughtfully composed to reflect the lightness, vibrancy and natural elegance of the season.
Among the standout creations is the Mulberry Cheesecake Tart, which balances silky richness with gentle acidity, while the Pineapple Tomato Mousse explores a refined interplay between sweet and savoury notes. The Watermelon Earl Grey Jelly offers a refreshing finish, combining fragrant tea with crisp fruit for a light, palate-cleansing touch that captures the fleeting essence of summer.
The savoury selections continue the seasonal narrative with dishes such as Shrimp with Mango Pineapple Salsa and Chicken Roll with Loofah and Clam Jelly, bringing together freshness, texture and subtle sophistication.
