Beast & Butterflies at M Social Resort Penang welcomes a new à la carte menu that brings Penang’s culinary heritage to the table alongside contemporary creations and international favourites.

Staying true to its “Penang Authentic Cuisine” philosophy, the menu brings together familiar local flavours with fresh interpretations, offering diners a taste of Penang alongside dishes inspired by international cuisine.

The selection opens with heritage-inspired appetisers such as Peranakan Pie Tee and Penang Pasembur, while Aegean Quinoa Crunch offers a lighter, refreshing option. Among the soups, Popiah Asam Laksa puts a creative spin on familiar local flavours, pairing tangy tamarind fish broth with mackerel, pineapple and vegetable spring rolls.

Penang classics remain at the heart of the menu, with Nasi Lemak with Fried Chicken and Sambal, Char Koay Teow and Ikan Asam Pedas offering a taste of the island’s much-loved flavours. For something different, Western favourites include an Angus Burger, Crispy Salmon & Chips and T-Bone Steak with Garlic Gravy.

Dessert brings a playful mix of tropical and international influences, from Jackfruit Tart with Meringue and Durian Mousse Cake to Kunafa Cheesecake.

Available from October 2026, the new menu offers both resort guests and local diners a chance to rediscover Penang flavours while exploring a fresh selection of contemporary and international dishes at Beast & Butterflies.
