As of 30 June 2026, CDL had around S$5 billion in AUM. This comprises S$3.5 billion under CDL Hospitality Trusts (or 22 properties across Asia Pacific and Europe), S$1.2 billion under IREIT Global (or 53 properties across Europe), and S$300 million in private funds (based on its attributable share).
CDL believes its portfolio of real estate assets and operating expertise can provide a strong pipeline of investment opportunities for future funds. Selected assets from the Group's portfolio may be seeded into investment vehicles alongside third-party capital, creating a more capital-efficient model while enabling CDL to continue participating in future growth opportunities.
Speaking at a media and analyst briefing on CDL's Strategic Review Outcome, CDL's Group CEO, Mr Sherman Kwek said that fund management, together with active capital recycling, will help the company CDL become "more nimble" while strengthening recurring fee-based earnings and improving return on equity.
The initiative represents another key pillar of CDL's strategy to enhance financial flexibility, diversify income streams and support sustainable long-term growth.
